Jenisha is a poor girl from Nepal, where only three per cent of girls complete a full time education. At nine years old Jenisha can look forward to at least another seven years of education because she has been sponsored through SHIVA Charity.

Sampath has had a very hard life. He does not have much of a home life, and lives in a very poor palm-leaf house in Pitipana, Negombo. He was not attending school at all. Now he has made plenty of friends, and is learning reading and writing skills.
